Oh my goodness how have you been?  I have been good. Busy. I have worked as many extra shifts as possible so I can have a little extra cash!

The other day my friend Dittmann came over and we did crafts all day long!!! We had such a good time.  One of the projects we made were salt dough ornaments for our friends and family. They were so easy and a lot of fun.  So now I am going to share this fun awesome craft with you. Who knows maybe you can start a holiday tradition and make them every year!

Salt Dough Recipe

1/2 cup salt
1/2 cup water
1 cup flour
alphabet rubber stamps, pens, paint. . .
circle cookie cutter or any shape you like
ribbon
Mix together until dough forms and then knead for 7 – 10 minutes

Once dough is prepared roll out flat and use cookie cutters.

After you have your shapes, take your rubber stamps and press into cut dough.

Paint and decorate as you wish.

We used sharpie permanent markers!!!

Make a small hole in cut circles (to string through ribbon).

When finished, place cut outs on an ungreased cookie sheet and cook for 2 hours at 250 degrees.

Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.

String through ribbon and enjoy these fun holiday messages on your Christmas tree.

Wow these were so much fun and my little Christmas tree looks awesome!

This is a great craft for kids of all ages! Spread the holiday cheer! Make some ornaments for your friends and family!!

Until Then,

Wende
