I have been craving Tacos. So I figured I  would do a healthier version. Blackened Fish Tacos with home-made slaw! Oh Yeah. These were De-licious. This was the first time I have ever made slaw in my life. I have never been a slaw eater. I am weird about textures and cabbage just is not good to me. I really thought my husband would like it so I began looking at recipes on-line for different ways to make slaw and I managed to come up with my very own version.

Apple Cider Cole Slaw

1 Bag of Broccoli Slaw

    1/4 C olive oil

    1/4 C apple cider vinegar

    1/4 C sugar

    1/4 tsp salt

Pepper to taste

A dash of Celery seed

mix it up

 

In a large bowl, add contents of bag.

In a small bowl, combine all other ingredients and mix well.

I added a dab of yellow mustard and a bit more pepper for flavor.

 Pour over the cabbage mixture and toss well.

Cover and place in the fridge.

Let it marinate at least an hour.

I let it sit over night. It really tastes better if you do!

Ohhh Yeahhhh

Serve!

So we ate on this for a few days.  It was so yummy.  And I have to say that I am an official slaw liker as of this moment.
